I grew up in India delving into art like oxygen. My mother spoke to us in art.  Everything was nature or hand crafted. Machines had not fully invaded the land yet. We sang Indian classical music, we wrote poetry in various languages and loved experimenting with space, textures and hues.

I live with my twins and my husband in Lexington, MA. I pursue music, poetry and art. The fusion of the three forms inspires music from colors , painting from woven words and poetry from textural art.

Nature is the most miraculous creator; I attempt to simulate Her by recreating Her imperfections and randomness.  I mold and fold curves by hand using home made non-toxic materials to create textural dimensions. I move my palm, fingers and nails drenched in color on my canvas, then contrast it with perfect symmetry.
