The painting is 24 by 30 inches; float framed to preserve the texture on the edges.
This work was done at night in a peaceful frenzy spanning over months. It would take an archaeologist's dexterity to completely unearth all it's layers.
The first few are comprised of neon yellows and greens, which hurt the eyes. That pain is then married to pinks and purples. This concoction of hues is then dressed in softer sand tones, golds and parrot greens.
There is a plethora of textural lines and ravines, a complication handled with frenzy but sedulously.
So much effort and the colors were still reluctant to be with each other. Then one day at dawn, suddenly, they were singing in the same octave!! Phew!!
I love beauty created by the beast within, completely unleashed.
