This piece is 26 by 32 inches float framed to preserve its dimensions. 

A recent visit to my parent's home in India inspired this work. 

The drought in my father's village in India parched the earth to a sienna and then to a red. The farmers stared at the blue in the hope for green. Their eyes shone with a distant sheen. 

Everything is scorched but there is a hint of green and blue here!
